Designed specifically for AI education, the miniHexa Pro is a high-performance embodied AI robot. Powered by a dual-core ESP32-P4C5 module, it delivers robust edge AI vision computing, running advanced algorithms—such as face and gesture recognition and pedestrian detection—entirely offline. Equipped with the WonderLLM AI module, the robot seamlessly integrates the XiaoZhi AI platform and deploys the ESP32-Claw agent to complete the perception-decision-execution loop. This empowers it to effortlessly handle collaborative tasks like natural conversations and executing complex, long-form instructions.
Mechanically, it pairs an 18DOF all-metal hexapod chassis with a 2DOF robotic arm. Driven by inverse kinematics, it fluidly performs complex maneuvers including omnidirectional movement, obstacle navigation, and precise grasping and transport.
To facilitate teaching and secondary development, the robot supports Scratch, MicroPython, and Arduino. Complemented by open-source code and comprehensive courses, the miniHexa Pro significantly broadens its application boundaries.
