I am happy with JetRover Robot. But, Battery alone is not working as expected.

I am happy with JetRover Robot. It is functioning good, But, As per mail communication, it is conveyed battery will take 3 hours to get completedly charged. But, it is taking 8 to 9 hours just to get charged 10 V to 11 V.
Also, the discharge is so fast. I need replacement for the battery or some other solutions where i can get exact battery either via Hiwonder or some external soruce as well.

The battery may drain quickly if all functions are activated. However, the batteries we use are of very high quality. Due to size and convenience constraints, using three batteries (4V each one)is the most suitable option. If you are engaging in intensive development, we recommend purchasing an extra battery as a backup—it’s very easy to replace.

Best Gift and Great Value for the money

I purchased it for a 39 year old "kid" and he absolutely loves this robot! It is very easy to use and set up. The directions are great. I was shocked to see how well it performed and how well it was made based on the price. I have bought some robots in the past for a lot more and they didn't do half of what these do. This program does a lot and the smart part of it is incredible. I think I will be making more purchases of these as they make great gifts for anyone of any age!

I have used it for some days and it works well. I think that the appearance is the best on the market. The NVIDIA motherboard is very creative. I plan to use a large model to further develop this robot.

Extremely well designed and manufactured 6DoF robotic arm with chassis for ROS study.

I was amazed at the quality of the JetRover, from the heavy metal base, industrial quality ball-bearing, good servos and the very clear instruction videos on the Internet. It assembles easily in a few hours. I would recommend this arm over any other robot arm for robot experimenters as it will last. I intended to write about it in my monthly column in a robotics magazine. Excellent quality.

  • I'm curious about the performance difference between the JetRover Raspberry Pi model and the Jetson Orin Nano. Could you please explain in detail which parts can be felt during the tutorial?

    The key differences lie in the main controller, expansion board, and operating systems. The Raspberry Pi 5 operates on Debian 12 and sets up the ROS2 environment within Docker. In contrast, the Orin Nano uses Ubuntu 22.04, with ROS2 installed directly in the system. Additionally, the Raspberry Pi 5 version does not include the human tracking feature that is available in the Orin Nano version; everything else is the same.
