Very Good
I love this product! It’s easy to build and works really well with the phone app. It’s a great way to inspire kids using the micro:bit environment. I highly recommend it—100%!
My son needed this kit for an online robotics class, and I was thrilled to find one that didn't require a micro:bit, since we already had one. I can't speak to how easy it would be to assemble on your own, as my son put it together with his instructor, but I think it would be quite manageable with the right videos. It’s been a fantastic teaching tool and a lot of fun as well.
This micro:bit robot car looks really cute. There are an user manual and a road map inside, which makes it easy to assemble. My friend's young brother said it was easy to assemble, which can be finished easily within a few steps. This is a good gift choice for children to learn easy programming. Block style coding interface is easy for kids of all ages, yet allows more advanced programming as well.
I assembled this kit with the micro:bit in just a few minutes, and it even comes with the micro:bit included. I spent about 15 minutes using MS MakeCode to create a routine that made it follow the track on the printed line map provided. I didn’t need any walkthrough or guide—everything just worked perfectly, which is rare! (Just to note, I’m a professional software engineer, so coding is my specialty. Even so, I was surprised at how easy it was to set up.) I’m planning to get a few more of these kits—this is going to be a great summer project for my kids.
