The capability, movement, controllability and quality of the arm are excellent. Hassle free! The SpiderPi has been assembled and tested already. I think this is much more than a basic entry-level robot; this is the kind of kit you want when your plan is to move up to something more capable and sophisticated. Given the integration with OpenCV, there's a lot of intelligence available to this system. I have been using it, and it has worked great so far.
Excellent job done by the developers at Hiwonder, this is an amazing product for people like myself who are interested in tinkering with AI and robotics. The fact that the sample code provided is written in python makes the learning curve a lot more easier for people who is not familiar with Python programming, which really makes it hassle free. This is the 2nd product I bought from Hiwonder, I will definitely continue to keep an eye out on future products these folks develop.

This Raspberry Pi 4B AI Robot Kit is an excellent collection of hardware, software and documentation. This hexapod robot is a very exciting robot to work with. This thing is bigger than I imagined. The device is sturdy, well designed and ready to use. The tutorial takes you through every aspect from starting the SpiderPi to program. The supporting application on the smart device used to control the robot works well. Raspberry Pi 4B 4G and expansion board are included in this kit. Tech support is fast and friendly and they commit to getting your issues resolved. I believe this would be a good addition to any class on robotics or used for individual study where a focus on python is desired.
