I use two of these on my 1/10 rock crawler with heavy 2.2 wheels—one steers the front, and the other steers the back. They're powerful, especially at 6.6 volts. Both of mine work really well and stay in the middle position perfectly. I have tough aluminum parts attached with no problems, even though I don't use a special thing called a servo saver. These servos can turn quite a bit (270°), so it's important to set the endpoints correctly to avoid damaging the motor.
When I first got this thing, I wasn't sure it would be good. But, I recommend it because:
It's pretty strong for a cheap servo.
It's made decently.
The cable is a good length.
Comes in good packaging.
Moves at a good speed.
Rebuilding old RC boat....have not got it totally setup but servo is doing it's job and withstanding periodic splashes
Arrived quickly. I installed the servp as soon as I received it. it works very well on very grippy rocky terrain. No buzzing, erratic noises or pulsing like I have experienced with other brands. Overall, an excellent strong servo that feels solid.
Got the 20kg on my robot and it's relentless. I haven't use it enough to comment on how long it lasts but it works great. I installed it and have about 2 days on it, holding up well and nice torque.
